The month of August has seen a number of key smartphone launches so far. In the beginning, we saw Google finally launching its budget Pixel 4a smartphone. It was followed by Samsung launching its much-awaited Galaxy Note 20 smartphone. More recently, Xiaomi launched its Redmi K30 Ultra and Mi 10 Ultra smartphones.
So, here are the top smartphones launched in August so far:
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865+ processor that is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. On the camera front, it has a 108MP + 12MP + 12MP camera setup at the back and a 10MP camera in the front. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery. It costs ₹1,04,999 in India.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. It features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor that is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It has 48MP + 48MP + 12MP + 12MP camera setup at the back and a 20MP camera in the front. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery. It is available only in China.
Redmi K30 Ultra
The Xiaomi Redmi K30 Ultra comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G processor that is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. It has 64MP + 13MP + 5MP + 2MP camera setup at the back and a 2MP selfie camera. It comes with a 4500mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. It is also available in China.
Google Pixel 4a
The Google Pixel 4a comes with a 5.8-inch FHD+ resolution OLED screen. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor that is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. There’s a 12.2MP camera at the back and an 8MP camera in the front. It is backed by a 3140mAh battery. It is coming to India in October.
Bonus: Realme C12
The Realme C12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display. It is powered by Helio G35 chipset that is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. On the camera front, it has 13MP + 2MP + 2MP camera setup at the back and a 5MP camera in the front. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery. It has been launched in Indonesia and it will arrive in India on August 18.
